Recently, HydoTech’s advanced electrolyser solution, custom-developed for Shell’s EnergHyNet project, has successfully passed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). On August 18th, the equipment officially set sail amid a symbolic Water Ceremony, celebrating safe navigation, successful collaboration, and a shared commitment to a sustainable future—marking a new phase in this international partnership.

This date is also significant: on August 18th, 2022, HydoTech first unveiled its next-generation water electrolysis system, HydoLyser®. Today, the system’s core technology continues to be implemented globally, powering deployments across Europe, the Middle East, and China, fully demonstrating its technological leadership and commercial maturity.

As a key partner for Shell’s EnergHyNet project, HydoTech hosted multiple dedicated visits from Shell’s delegation for comprehensive audits. Following rigorous inspections, all equipment performance indicators met the required standards, successfully passing FAT and validating the reliability and advancement of HydoTech’s technical solution.

Notably, within just two weeks, two of HydoTech’s advanced hydrogen production systems have consecutively passed FAT and are now en route to Europe. This back-to-back achievement highlights HydoTech’s efficient multi-project coordination, as well as its solid technological foundation and outstanding manufacturing capabilities in green hydrogen equipment—laying a strong base for deeper international market engagement.

From technical customization to acceptance and shipment, HydoTech remains committed to delivering reliable, high-performance green hydrogen solutions. Working alongside global partners like Shell, the company continues to drive the deployment and innovation of green hydrogen technology. This shipment also injects fresh momentum into the partnership, supporting joint efforts toward a zero-carbon future.
